The institutional church often robs the real church to advance itself. It does this by mischievously teaching prosperity wrongly. It emphasizes that a person prospers to the extent that that person brings his or her wealth to the church. This makes making wealth appear easy but ultimately, it is only deceptive. It enriches the institution and impoverishes the individual. In this way, denominational churches teach that the church makes you rich. In reality, you make the church rich. You don’t bring your money to the church to be rich. You go out make money and bring it to the church for the execution of the assignment of the church. Acceptable giving is based on what you have and not on what you want to have.

Giving in church is not a personal financial empowerment program. It is a kingdom advancement program. This is how the early church understood giving, Acts 4.:2-37. People brought their wealth to the church to advance the church’s agenda. This is responsible giving. A person will need to be sure that he or she belongs to the church and believes in her mission. Then the person commits to promoting that agenda and does whatever it takes to do so. Sadly, people are made to give not with eyes on the mission of the church but on their own personal returns so that if they are not sure of the returns, they won’t give. The result is that they are robbed of their wealth on empty promises of divine pay back.

Commitment
I commit today to give what I have to promote the mission of the church and not to be rich.

John 20:19-31

In our reading today there are many things that deserve our attention. One of the most important is that on Sunday evening, the first day of the week, we are told that the disciples were hiding in a secure room behind closed doors. For fear of the Jews. Nigerians likewise are afraid because of the CABAL'S in Nigeria confirmed by President Buhari's wife, Aisha Buhari who informed Nigerians that her husband is being controlled by the CABAL'S and as a Result things are lopsided creating FEAR among other things!

If one were to say such a thing today he might be labelled as an anti-semite but this incredible statement is made by one of the disciples who was there at the time and he was also a Jew. Why did the disciples have fear of the Jews? Because they had just seen what happened to their beloved leader Jesus. If such a vicious, illegal, unjust attack could take place on a wonderful prophet like Jesus, then it was no stretch of the imagination to think that the Jewish authorities could do the same to the followers of Jesus. But the disciples did not yet have any idea about what had truly happened. With the Corruptions and non is held accountable, Injustices prevailing, the Killings of Nigerians and non is in custody, Nigerians are afraid!



They were still living in the old world. For the disciples, death was still death. Fear was still fear. Despair was still despair. When someone asks you about the resurrection I would gently point them to this passage. The disciples, grown men, were in fear. How does it happen that such frightened men, such cowards, become brave as lions? How do such timid people, become bold? It takes only common sense and a small amount of logic to fill in the blanks.

I am encouraging Nigerians to be Bold in the Resurrection powers of our Lord Jesus Christ to overcome the CABAL'S!

Our Lord Jesus Christ promised the disciples that He would not leave them orphaned, and He kept His word. The appearance of the master changed everything. The disciples eyes were opened to a completely new world. In this new world, death was a minor point. Fear vanished and hope flourished. After seeing the crucifixion and death of their Lord, they now witnessed His resurrection. The one who had layed down His life for His friends, took it up again.

Yes, this is to inform Nigerians that the same Jesus have All Powers against the CABAL'S in Nigeria.
We have to understand that this is the reality by which we now live. The disciples understood this through physical contact with the Lord. They became bold and they travelled all over the world preaching the good news and baptizing new believers. They changed the world because Christ had changed them.
Nigerians likewise need to understand the Lord has given us Freedom to Stand against the Status quo of Corruption which birth Suffering and Smiling rather than being Docile.

What about us? We don’t see the physical body of the Lord, but the Lord told Thomas that those who believed without seeing would be blessed. I think all of us believe to some extent but we have different degrees of belief. Some of us barely believe. Some of us believe in theory. Some of us have an intellectual belief, but our actions do not demonstrate belief in a risen Lord. God wants heartfelt conviction. The kind of conviction that changes your whole thought process. God wants the kind of conviction that changes your attitude and outlook on life. This isn’t an unreasonable demand, it’s a measure of God’s grace.
Nigerians likewise need to understand that the CABAL'S in Nigeria is not able to make it without the support of the Masses. I am Challenging Nigerians to get Provoke rather than been passive about the happenings.

When we take the resurrection to heart we can begin living. We can break free of fear and despair and hopelessness. We can break free of the fear of sickness and death. We can break free of the bonds of addiction and sin. We can break free of the fear of others and their opinions. In short, the Lord’s victory over death becomes a victory of life.
Yes I See a New Nigeria and I challenge Nigerians to wake up from Slumbering knowing that we have the powers of Unity and the CABAL'S are not able to withstand the People's power.

When we have true belief and a living relationship with Christ, we become bold like the disciples. Since we no longer have irrational fear, we find new ways to sacrifice more. We find new ways to give more of our time and resources and talents. We find new ways to suffer more and to love more. We find new ways to preach and comfort and provide blessings to family members and coworkers and friends and ultimately even our enemies.
Yes we can win this war against Corruption, Unrighteousness and Injustices that's destroying the economy of our Nation.
It would be easier for you if I simply listed a number of concrete ways, but the Holy Spirit works differently in each person. There is a sort of charismatic creativity that opens up in our lives when we are hungry to serve God and live life according to His teachings. There is a power that is available in our lives when we truly understand that the Lord is risen. When we become like Thomas and say “My Lord and My God!” we are on the right track in life. He was not ready to proclaim these bold words for the previous 3 years that he followed Our Lord. It is the resurrection that gave him boldness.
The same Boldness is available to Nigerians today, Fear is a Torment and God has not given us the spirit of Fear but that of Boldness and a Sound Mind.

When we speak about our needs, wants, desires and hopes for ourselves we are still self centered and fearful. When our needs, wants, desires and hopes center on the Lord and the life of the Church, all of the sudden, they become precious and worth pursuing. These goals are properly attached to the anchor, Jesus Christ. When our hopes and goals and desires are attached to this anchor, they gain strength and they are not easily moved by the storms of life. These storms come in many forms….even death itself. If Christ defeated every problem of the world including death then we are no longer interested in focusing on the problems. We are interested in attaching ourselves and our lives to the solution. The solution to death is life and Jesus Christ is the life of the world.
Yes my fellow Nigerians let's believe the Risen Saviour and take our Future from the CABAL'S for the Kingdom of God suffered violence and the violence is taking by Force!
So belief in the resurrection isn’t a casual thing. It is quite literally a matter of life and death. The Lord told the disciples to be of good cheer because He had overcome the world. May the Lord give us this victory over the world! Glory be to God forever AMEN.

Today we participate in the commemoration of our Lord's suffering and death on the Calvary's Cross. The observance of Good Friday began in the 4th century AD when the early church instituted the Lenten Season and time of spiritual preparation for Resurrection/Easter Sunday. As a means of remembering Calvary, the church held Solemn services called Tre Ore, which is Latin for "Three Hours." Traditionally, Christian churches hold three hours services from noon until three O'Clock in the afternoon, the time of Jesus crucifixion. These services center on the seven Last Words of utterances Jesus spoke from the cross and include Paschal hymns and songs.

Good Friday, as well as the entire Lenten Season is a time for repentance and reflection. The cross of Jesus speaks not only of His love for us, but also of our sinfulness and broken relationship with God. The first words uttered from the cross, "Father forgive them" convict us of our culpability in this heinous act. It reminds us that we in the face of the cross need to repent of the way in which we still reject God, God's ways, and God's people.

Good Friday is also a good reality check. We are not in heaven yet and here, the powers, principalities, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places still exists. Good Friday reminds us that dark days are not always the sign of God's disfavor, but can also be the result of faithful obedience. In Jesus words from the Cross, we are reminded of His humility and His allegiance to us. It allows us to know that good Friday is not the end and anticipate a Resurrection Sunday.

The origin of the word "good" in reference to this day remains a mystery. Some believe that it is a Corruption of the word "God" and points ultimately to God's work through Jesus Christ in reconciling the world to Himself. Others believe that it is indeed "good" Friday because of the merits of salvation made accessible to believers through Jesus Christ death. In either case, we set aside this day known to us as good Friday to remember a Love so strong that it would not crumble even in the face of death.

On this good Friday I have an urgent message to all Nigerians seeing what life development is, I know your hearts must be bleeding now for your country just like mine does everyday. Three good Friday questions

1. Shall we keep watching while our people suffer daily from one oppressive and uncaring regime to another? The Answer is No!
2. Shall we keep watching them Loot our Nation dry? The Answer is No!
3. Shall we keep watching them destroy the future of our Youths and the Nation's manpower while they keep their families abroad? The Answer is No!
Please join forces with Citizens for Righteousness and Social Justice (CRJ) to fight against Corruption and Injustices in Nigeria and change the plight of our Nation and people forever.

We thank God for bringing us to a new year. The major challenge ahead of us as a nation in 2019 is stability. The year 2018 was indeed an eventful one, with so many ups and downs in the lives of individuals, organisations and the country as a whole. We were tossed, buffeted and shaken on every side by uncertainties and insecurity, and a general search for a new direction.

In this New Year 2019, I look forward to when we will leave behind much of the vices and tackle the challenges of our country in previous years. Aside from the social ills, which have been flogged by practically everybody namely: corruption, unemployment, insecurity, bad leadership and collapsed infrastructure among others, I would like to see an overall change of attitude in Nigerians. Without an attitudinal change and a new orientation, it is impossible to turn anything involving human beings around. Nigerians generally must leave behind the cynicism, which has become a demobiliser of most of our good effort.

Most Nigerians, debilitated by past experiences, have lost faith in government, the academia and even now have doubts about religion. Let us all talk less and act more.  We must be more positive about humanity, ourselves, our country, about God, religion and the possibility of positive change. It is this groundswell of the “CAN DO” attitude that conquers evil and vices. Each one of us should become a crusader of virtues. Evil prevails because good people are lukewarm.

 Religious leaders must be more courageous and sincere. The fate of society is also a game of numbers. Let everyone challenge corruption, fraud, deceit, ignorance, and indolence in his own family, school, workplace and the church and we will all be well on the way to a better country. Change will be granted us only if we unite to provoke it. Let us bring back personal and social discipline and prudence to our lives. Let our businesses, churches, our artistes, sportsmen and celebrities engage in social responsibility activities in favour of the downtrodden and we shall surely end 2019 on the path of restoration and prosperity.

We all have one positive thing or the other to contribute towards moving away from the mistakes of the past. 2019 is our chance. We should be stakeholders and not just spectators or squatters in midwifing this new Nigeria.

Nigeria must become a nation, where laws are not only made, but also applied to all. It must not be selectively applied, whereby some are sacred cows and some are victims. From the traffic rules, where people exhibit reckless driving habits that endanger other lives, to the big business people that evade tax, we must resolve to make Nigeria a place where things can work.

The present killings and insecurity in the country requires firm and permanent solution, as this has become counter productive to the government’s mobilisation for renewed interest in peace and prosperity. Overnight, people have lost their lives and properties. We do not expect change overnight, but a solid foundation for a new Nigeria can be laid. There must be a resolve by all and sundry to do whatever it takes— sacrifice and discipline— to turn things around. People must work for their pay, and not see corruption as the unchangeable profile of the Nigerian nation. We must also identify and reward merit appropriately wherever found.

Let us believe that God can still change Nigeria for the better. We are so greatly endowed with rare human and natural resources. We must reverse the brain-drain syndrome to a passion for happy homecoming to those in the Diaspora. Religious leaders and followers must pray for the healing of the nation and also model integrity. There has been widespread credibility gap, whereby some have made religion to become the lazy man’s alternative. Religious commitment brings about change in people’s hearts and attitudes, which in turn leads to change in the society. We must seek to make Nigeria the nation that people can believe in once again.

On it's part, Citizens for Righteousness and Social Justice (CRJ) is ever committed to authenticating her mission of pointing our nation in the direction of true greatness anchored on justice and righteousness. We will continue to advocate for the emergence of true statesmen, whose expertise is wasting away unused. In 2019, CRJ will be as light and salt in a society that needs direction in more ways than one. May God take us higher.

The notion that politics is a dirty game is one we could safely say dates as early as the maturing stages of our political evolution. In demystifying this widely misconstrued assertion, I cannot agree more with the words of a political sage that the comparison of politics to a game is a ‘felicitous one’. It should be known that any game at all in so far as it is not a game of chance is a good game. That submission, therefore, lends politics the status of a good game; that is of course if one still holds onto that opinion that it is one. Being no different from other games, it has got players and they are the politicians or so they call themselves.

Politics should be generally seen as an art of science and management of public affairs, or so they simply put it. These affairs which in modern day have gone beyond just merely maintaining law and order are to ensure the welfare and happiness of the generality of the people. So, where did the dirt in the game come from?

Politicians ideally are to be men and women of impeccable character and proven competence. Again, ideally, these qualities are supposed to be examined in the full glare of public limelight and are to be found worthy enough to earn the politicians the public trust of the people. These days it seems like everyone is just another politician.

In the bid to earn this trust, politicians or should I say politicians in Nigeria are in the habit of employing methods such as ‘abusing, vituperating, attacking, taunting as well other extreme methods which could be violent to detract their political opponents both in private and public spaces. With the knowledge of this, it would not be unfair to understand why the popular dubbing ‘dirty’ has held sway for a long time because they (the people) mean so in a matter of speaking of the way the game is played and not the game itself.

The object of this writing is not to give the politicians a pat on the back but rather to say the truth the way it is: they politicians in Nigeria have failed and have failed very well.

The political set-up of this country is an amalgam of public-spirited and self-seeking politicians. The alarming truth is not just in the presence of both as that should be expected but in the sprinkling presence of the former and an over-abundance of the latter.


Truth be told: politics is not dirty, and it can be played clean the right way if only the players on the political field would conform to the rules of the game which cut across universal standards of decency and ethics. The politics in Nigeria has clearly given room for an increase in the majority of the politicians who are to be best described as desperate, spoilt, venal, mendacious, callous and self-seeking.

Politics in Nigeria has become a lot of things but truly ensuring the welfare and happiness of the people is not one of them. This same politicians ‘romance’ with the people to get them voted in public office; to give them power to determine their collective fortunes. This is one favour that soon turns out to be an instrument to bring upon misery and bigger misery upon the masses of the people. The privilege to ‘serve’ the people becomes an opportunity to shield themselves from harsh economic realities and social buffetings while in the process they continue to free themselves and further enslave the people.

All these are enough to discourage well-meaning Nigerians from believing in the country and its potentialities but I, as with many others like me remained unfazed because we find encouragement in the fact that the masses of the people are fast developing the ability to differentiate ‘gold from lead and real metal from dross’. It is becoming more obvious that the masses of the people are fed up and tired of this political merry-go-rounding that has led us nowhere and are getting more prepared for tough action against these politicians whose hobbies are among other things the misuse and abuse of power, trickery, fraud and callous neglect of the poor and downtrodden.

We shall overcome as I continue to educate fellow Nigerians against this unscrupulous politicians in Nigeria.

Two-head Snake discovered in a garden

A rare two-headed snake is being trained by a New Orleans family after its discovery in a backyard.

SWNS reports that wildlife educator Tanee Janusz, 39, adopted the western rat snake when a fellow member of her naturalist society found it in his garden.

The foot-long reptile, which is 10 months old, has two heads as a result of a genetic deformity affecting just one in 10,000 births. The animal has two brains but a single respiratory system, digestive tract and body, according to SWNS.

Named Filé and Gumbo by Janusz, the heads reportedly have different personalities. Gumbo is the dominant side although both heads are described as “feisty” and often end up wrestling after trying to go in opposite directions.

It was not clear till now why he refused to show up. But the recent video of Nigeria IGP Ibrahim Kpotum Idris address in Kano unveil it all. In this video which the lyrics is down below you will see how IGP transmitted transmission into transconfussion that is 3TTT.

Trumpilizing American is like changing the country's nomenclature so you better be careful the kind of word you use when it comes to official discussion.


Officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the very agency tasked with saving and protecting the lives of the most vulnerable, are now under order by the Trump administration to stop using words including "vulnerable" in 2018 budget documents, according to The Washington Post.

In a 90-minute briefing on Thursday, policy analysts at the nation's leading public health institute were presented with the menu of seven banned words, an analyst told the paper. On the list: "diversity," "fetus," "transgender," "vulnerable," "entitlement," "science-based" and "evidence-based."

Alternative word choices reportedly were presented in some cases. For instance, in lieu of "evidence-based" or "science-based," an analyst might say, "CDC bases its recommendations on science in consideration with community standards and wishes," the source said. But those working on the Zika virus's effect on developing fetuses may be at a loss for appropriate -- or acceptable -- words.

The reaction in the room was "incredulous," the longtime CDC analyst told the Post. "It was very much, 'Are you serious? Are you kidding?'"
As news of the word ban spreads at the CDC, the analyst expects growing backlash.
"Our subject matter experts will not lay down quietly," the unnamed source said. "This hasn't trickled down to them yet."

Health and Human Services spokesman Matt Lloyd disputed the report in a statement to CNN.
"The assertion that HHS has 'banned words' is a complete mischaracterization of discussions regarding the budget formulation process," Lloyd said. "HHS will continue to use the best scientific evidence available to improve the health of all Americans. HHS also strongly encourages the use of outcome and evidence data in program evaluations and budget decisions."
Others, outside the agency, are already responding with their own choice words.

"To pretend and insist that transgender people do not exist, and to allow this lie to infect public health research and prevention is irrational and very dangerous," Mara Keisling, executive director of the National Center for Transgender Equality, said in a written statement.

"The Trump administration is full of dangerous science deniers who have no business near American public health systems like the CDC," she continued. "They are actually going to kill Americans if they do not stop."

Calling the order "reckless" and "unimaginably dangerous," Dana Singiser, vice president of public policy and government affairs for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, also weighed in.

"You cannot fight against the Zika virus, or improve women's and fetal health, if you are unable to use the word 'fetus.' You must be able to talk about science and evidence if you are to research cures for infectious diseases such as Ebola," Singiser said. "You must be able to acknowledge the humanity of transgender people in order to address their health care needs. You cannot erase health inequities faced by people of color simply by forbidding the use of the words 'vulnerable' or 'diversity'."
"Here's a word that's still allowed," added Rush Holt, chief executive officer of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. "Ridiculous."

The New York Times says documents from the operation describe strange speeding aircraft and hovering objects.

The Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Programme was the brainchild of Harry Reid, a retired Democratic senator who was the Senate majority leader at the time.

He told the New York Times: "I'm not embarrassed or ashamed or sorry I got this thing going. I've done something that no one has done before."

The programme is reported to have cost the Department of Defense more than $20 million (£15m) before it was shut down in order to save costs.

Although its funding ended in 2012, officials have reportedly continued to investigate sightings of unusual aerial phenomena and suspicious objects alongside their daily duties.
One former congressional staffer told Politico the programme may have been set up to monitor the technological progress of rival foreign powers.

Earlier this year, the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) released millions of pages of declassified documents online.

California wild fire is causing havoc and engulfing lives


Firefighters are mourning the death of one of their own. Cory David Iverson, 32, lost his life battling the Thomas Fire on Thursday.

Iverson was a fire apparatus engineer from San Diego and had been a firefighter with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection -- also known as Cal Fire -- since 2009.

Cal Fire engineer Cory Iverson died while fighting the Thomas Fire in Ventura County. He leaves behind his pregnant wife, Ashley, and toddler daughter Evie.
He drove a fire engine and was killed on the east flank of the Thomas Fire, Cal Fire spokeswoman Lynne Tolmachoff said.
Iverson was with other crew members when he was killed, she said.
He leaves behind his 2-year-old daughter and a pregnant wife who's due this spring. His death is the first firefighter fatality in the most recent string of wildfires in California.
A woman was also killed in a car crash while evacuating last week, and Cal Fire says it considers her death to be fire-related.
Celebrities thank firefighters for their efforts
On Saturday, some celebrities expressed appreciation to the firefighters battling the massive blaze.
Retired tennis player Jimmy Connors said earlier in the week that the Thomas Fire was threatening his home and thanked the firefighters. He reiterated that sentiment on Saturday.

A Royal Caribbean cruise ship returned to Florida on Saturday after hundreds of passengers contracted a gastrointestinal illness.

During the five-night cruise, 332 cases of the illness were reported, Owen Torres, a spokesman for Royal Caribbean told CNN in a statement. He stressed that it was a small percentage -- 5.99% -- of the more than 5,000 passengers and crew onboard the ship, Independence of the Seas.

"Those affected by the short-lived illness were treated by our ship's doctors with over-the-counter medication," Torres said, "and we hope all our guests feel better quickly."
It is not known what caused the illness.

"It was just terrifying," Tracy Flores, a passenger whose 15-year-old son came down with the illness, told CNN affiliate WPLG Saturday. "Just the amount of people that were coming in at the same time with vomiting and diarrhea and just looked ghastly."

WPLG reported that some passengers who were disembarking Saturday in Port Everglades, Florida, believed the number of passengers who got sick was higher than what Royal Caribbean said.

"We talked to plenty of people who said that they were too sick to even make it down to the (ship's) medical facility," passenger Marsha Homuska told CNN affiliate WSVN.

Torres, the Royal Caribbean spokesman, told CNN the company is "taking steps like intensive sanitary procedures to minimize the risk of any further issues," and that the ship will "undergo special additional cleaning procedures before it departs on its next cruise."

"We encouraged our guests and crew to wash their hands often, which health experts recommend as the best defense against stomach viruses, which each year affect as many as 300 million people worldwide," Torres said, adding, "only the common cold is more prevalent."

Thousands of additional residents were evacuated Saturday from areas near the Thomas Fire, now the third-largest wildfire in modern California history.
Fueled by high winds, the massive fire north of Ventura continued growing Saturday. It had burned 267,500 acres by Saturday evening, Cal Fire said. That's up from 256,000 acres on Friday.
The blaze broke out 12 days ago and has killed a firefighter and a woman trying to flee.

Twelve thousand additional people were being evacuated Saturday from areas near the blaze in Santa Barbara County, said the county Sheriff's Office spokesman Brian Olmstead. Meanwhile, mandatory evacuations in Ventura County -- where the fire began-- were lifted Saturday.

Red-flag warnings are in effect for a large swathe of Southern California through late Sunday, with wind gusts of up to 55 mph expected overnight, according to CNN meteorologist Gene Norman.

Strong winds and dry conditions are expected fuel the blaze and increase the chance for new fires. On Saturday, a new fire near Lompoc, known as the Drum Fire, broke out, according to Cal Fire. As of Saturday afternoon it was about 30 acres, Norman said.

The Thomas Fire is slowly devouring its way up the list of the state's largest wildfires. It's now only about 13,000 acres behind the all-time leader, the Cedar Fire, which burned 273,246 acres in San Diego County in 2003, according to Cal Fire.

Pop star Janet Jackson has announced she will resume her world tour in September, after postponing 75 dates last year in order to start a family.



The 50-year-old gave birth to her first son, Eissa, on 3 January. In a video message to fans, she described him as "so healthy, so beautiful, so sweet, so loving, such a happy baby".

She also addressed her separation from the baby's father, Wissam Al Mana.
"We are in court and the rest is in God's hands," said Jackson.

As for the tour, it will resume on 7 September in Lafayette, Louisiana, followed by a further 55 dates in the US and Canada this autumn.

The star has yet to confirm whether the 21 European dates - including shows in London, Manchester and Glasgow - will be rescheduled.

Jackson said she had decided to rename the project, formerly The Unbreakable Tour, as The State of the World Tour.

"It's not about politics," she said. "It's about people, the world, relationships and just love."
State of the World is a track from her 1989 album Rhythm Nation, which addresses homelessness, child poverty and drug addiction.

'Excited'
The star announced the new tour dates a week after a fan sued concert promoter Live Nation over the US dates, some of which were postponed several times before Jackson became pregnant.
According to TMZ, Tiana Adams claimed the company had tried to get out of issuing refunds by treating the tour as "rescheduled" and not "cancelled".

Ending her video message, Jackson thanked fans for their "patience" while she put the tour on hold.
"I am so excited. I cannot wait to see you on stage."

A mother of one is speaking out after her husband's energy drink consumption nearly cost her family everything.

Love in a hard time

In a post shared on Endres Photography's Facebook page, a woman named Brianna described the heart-wrenching battle that she and her husband Austin ended up having to fight while simultaneously preparing for the birth of their first child.
"Being pregnant is supposed to be one of the most amazing journeys you will ever embark on," Brianna wrote. "You're creating a new life. You are experiencing unconditional love for someone you have not even met. Austin and I were so excited to meet our little boy. To bring him home. To be a family."

Amid her soon-to-be growing family's bliss, Brianna said she received news from her mother-in-law that would leave her whole world "shattered within hours."


"I still remember my mother in law waking me up that morning. 'Austin had an accident' she said. All I knew was that my husband was in the hospital. The worst part? I didn't know why," Brianna wrote.
"After a two hour drive to the hospital, I learned that my husband, the father of my child, the person I am so deeply in love with, had had a brain hemorrhage. Why? The doctors concluded (after running his tox screen and ruling out drugs) that this horrible event was due to his recent excessive energy drink consumption (a habit he had built when he started working longer hours and commuting)."
Before the family could process was happening, her husband was in an operating room undergoing a life-saving procedure. 
"Surgery was already in motion... and after an agonizing 5 hour wait, we got to see him. But while everyone was focused on the almost unrecognizable face hooked up to all sorts of machines and tubes, all I could see was his parents. I saw the light leave his mother's eyes as she saw her motionless son laying in that hospital bed. I saw his father break down crying as he held onto his wife. They didn't know if the life they created together would even wake up. Watching this family- my new family, who I have grown to love and be a part of, be so shattered and broken...that is the worst feeling I have ever felt."
The next day, Brianna said her husband was already undergoing his second round of brain surgery.

"Following this were strokes, seizures, swelling, and more things we weren't prepared for," she wrote. "There was a moment, sitting by his hospital bed, just praying he would be okay, that I knew I would never give up on him. No matter how messy our life would become. I was going to be by his side through all of it. After two weeks of living in a hospital, wondering if he would survive or be taken from us, we made our way back home. The time had come for me to deliver our baby."
"I'm not going to lie to anyone, it was so hard. I had planned on Austin being a part of this huge moment," Brianna continued in her emotional post. "Being by my side. Holding my hand. Being there to cut the cord. Being there to welcome our son into the world. It didn't feel right... But a beautiful miracle happened as I delivered our son. Austin woke up."

The new mom said that for about a week after her husband woke up, she was not even able to see him.
"I thought about him every day. I cried as I looked at my child who looked just like his daddy," she wrote. "When the baby was only a week old, I left him with my in-laws. I knew I needed to see Austin."
"I needed to tell him that our baby was here. To tell him how much we needed him. Weeks went by. We chased him all over the state as more operations and procedures were ordered. I saw him every chance I got. At a little over 2 months old, our son finally met his dad. A day I wasn't sure I would ever see. That was the day that my heart gained some of its happiness back."
But although Austin was finally able to return home to his loving family, Brianna said the struggle did not end there.
"Our life isn't normal. There are doctors visits and hospital trips- so many that I loose count. But we are here. Fighting," she wrote. "I wake up every day to take care of our beautiful little boy and my husband. I prepare the meals, do physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. I help him with personal hygiene. I help him walk. I help him with every aspect of his life. And in between these tasks I take care of our very busy eight month old. It is hard, and I am tired, but we make the most of it. He isn't the same man I fell in love with, but I still fall further everyday, We are fighting to help him recover. To make his life better. One day we will get there. Until then, I will never give up on him. Because love is selfless, and I love him more than life itself.
